Once I had a Heart and it was of Glass...

As busy as I am, I never thought this semester I would have time to have a night out on the town with my gals. However, when my roomie suggested we go to a club in Artesia, I had the night off, no work for my classes so I immediately said yes. I already planned my outfit accordingly and had anticipated straighting my lion's mane after practice, when my roomie got a text from one of her co-workers saying there was an 80s club in Pomona! Now if you do not know me personally, let me just tell you I can pretty much lip-synch to every song of the 80s. (My parents were hip in that era ok?) So, I pretty much ran to my outfit and started to transition from a classy-sexy ensemble to a modern take on the infamous Madonna style. I also planned an outfit for my roomie who was a tad bit unfamiliar on their "go-big or go home" flashy ways. As we were finishing getting ready and were awaiting our ride, I noticed our idenities changed. We were no longer just your average college party animals, we were Cyndi Lauper and Madonna. 

All in all it was an amazing night. The music was on point, our outfits were crazy, and we danced like there was no tomorrow and honestly I believe a night filled with dancing and laughter can cure any level of stress, anxiety, or unhappiness. Just remember...
